Welcome to the cool month of February. There is very little to post at this time. Not much going on here besides recovery from Christmas and Presidential elections. Just wanted to keep everyone in the loop. I'll be updating more each month.
Welcome to hot August days and warm August nights. Time of the Olympics, the heat rising, and perfect weather for swimming
For a special treat about Olympic fun...read on.
The Double Foil
Jacqueline attacked the taller woman across from her; a powerful kangaroo leap of her smaller body lunged forward, fiercely stabbing with her long pointed foil. Only through a severe contortion did the other female fighter avoid the move. The deflecting flex of her incredibly nimble opponent’s sword hissed a sensual message of warning. The glise', a harsh scraping of the two metals, as the opponents foil slid completely down the length of her own, sounding grievous. Totally off balance, the opponent released a softly muttered invective. The crowd’s collective gasp drowned out Jack’s snarky chuckle as they reacted to the intense blade play. She smiled behind her mask feeling victorious as she watched the opposing woman quickly step back to the quarter point of the strip. Jack followed continuing to give umbrage. Both women fought along the Piste, a linear area designated for the bout, holding a tension filled conversation with only the back and forth play of the blad
es. Clashing rang out as the two women wove their bodies and swords together and apart in a unique dance.
A sudden flick had the taller woman retreating once more to avoid the perilously close point that jabbed unskillfully into her body in a wild and donnybrook brawling fashion. The crowd instantly leaned forward on the edge of their seats watching the liberal Passe Avant, the advance. The hapless loss of ground and the continuous defensive movements toward the edge of the fighting boundary had the taller woman scrambling internally for a solution to turn the tide. The pressure increased as Jack applied the ever tightening torque. The ooooh’s and aww’s at the sudden coupe, a cut-over deception, performed breathtaking in its delivery by the smaller woman, sounded into the air.
Again she lunged a fairly good distance to make a hit; a metal sheathed arm sliding up against the other protected appendage scraping loudly as Jack met her opponents body thrust with a blocking move. She twisted and shot out her foil. The taller woman unable to parry at such close range, felt the sudden poke of the blunted deadly tip. Jack held the guarding bell cusp tightly gripped in her gloved hand, completely clenched until the referee called aloud the point.
Before the two women separated from the embrace they eyed each other thru the mesh face covering; their breaths harsh and heavy between them.
“Touche!” The taller woman gasped.
Jacqueline smiled as she felt her lover’s warm breath caress her own lips.

JLNicky has some incomplete but growing stories that you should definately take a look into. She is still delivering the romance and family drama, churning out chapters for Trouble Times Ten (2010), as well as some good old fashioned medical drama in Dr. Adwin (2011). You might want to also check out her take on being Homeless (2011) or a historical romance during the Seven Day War called Civil Love (2011). She is pumping out chapters between the four stories, as her muse takes her down that winding path.
Bliss is working on her mystery story and renovating her house.
We would like to offer some simple computer training tutorials for writers. Things like creating PDF files to RTF or working with Beta tools that are included in Word. Maybe some graphics options too. I will be adding more to this area of information soon. It will have some downloadable Camtasia video for you to watch. Nothing to hard core. Just some steps (1.2.3.etc) that you can see how its done. Check back often...
